KICKOLÉ terms of use
Version 1.0. Last updated 28 October 2026.
1. Who we are
KICKOLÉ is published by Rob Stancombe, sole trader trading as IQ Apps Group, Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU. Contact us at hello@iqappsgroup.co.uk. ICO registration: ZC266591.
2. These terms
These terms are the agreement between you and us for the KICKOLÉ app. By downloading or playing the game you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
3. Children
KICKOLÉ is a game that children play, and it is designed to be safe for them. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or carer is happy for you to play, and for you to join the leaderboard. A parent or carer who lets a child play is responsible for supervising that use.
4. Buying the game
KICKOLÉ is paid upfront. There are no in-app purchases, no coin balances and no subscriptions.
The purchase is handled by Apple or Google, depending on where you got the app. They are separate controllers for the payment and they set their own refund policy. Refunds are normally dealt with by them, not by us.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies: digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund.
5. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play KICKOLÉ on devices you own or control, for your own private entertainment. You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify it, except where the law says you may;
- use cheats, bots, automation, modified clients or memory editors to change scores;
- interfere with the leaderboard, including submitting scores you did not earn.
6. The leaderboard
The leaderboard is optional and is off until you join it. If you join:
- your display name is a nickname chosen from our word lists;
- you must not attempt to use a nickname to abuse, harass, impersonate or identify anyone, or to advertise;
- we may remove a score, a nickname or a leaderboard entry that breaks these terms, that looks manipulated, or that we are required to remove;
- you can change your nickname once every 7 days, and you can leave at any time with Delete my leaderboard data.
We may reset or remove leaderboard entries to fix a fault, to remove cheating, or if we retire the feature. Scores are for fun and carry no value.
7. Behaving well
Do not use the app to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, or to get around any technical protection we use. We may suspend or withdraw access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it.
8. Our content
The game, its artwork, its models, its audio, its code and the KICKOLÉ name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Third-party components are used under their own licences, listed in the app's licences file. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of that to you.
The music and model licences are linked from this page and from Settings.
You must not pull the footballer models out of the game or use them outside it.
9. Our responsibility to you
- We will provide the game with reasonable care and skill.
- The leaderboard and the online features need an internet connection. We will try to keep them running, but we may pause them for maintenance or retire them.
- We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. The game is for personal entertainment.
- If something the app does, because we did not use reasonable care and skill, damages your device or other digital content on it, we will repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.
- Otherwise, if we are at fault, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the game or the law changes. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you do not agree to a significant change, you may stop using the app.
11. If you have a problem
Please email hello@iqappsgroup.co.uk first so we can try to put it right. We aim to reply within 5 working days. See also our child safety statement and privacy notice.
12. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and you keep any rights your local law gives you.
